A few weeks ago, Adrien Broner spontaneously went to social media and voiced his opinion on The Money Team and its fighters – more specifically Ashley Theophane, who he doesn’t like at all in the ring. This prompted Floyd Mayweather to respond to his “Fuck the Money Team” comments, and defend his brand; saying that the 20-something-year-old should watch what he says, because his current promoter Al Haymon is partner with Money on T.M.T. and Premiere Boxing Champions.
While downplaying Adrien’s achievements after dissing the fighters on The Money Team, Broner issued out a response saying he respects his in-ring mentor but just had to voice his opinion on the sport. Take a look at the initial tweets, reactions and responses in full below.
