EXCLUSIVE: Andre Iguodala Removes LA Lakers from List after Disagreements for Surprise Team

Clippers in 3. . .

Over the last few weeks, the Memphis Grizzlies have been reluctant to give up Andre Iguodala to the Los Angeles Lakes. Prior to Dwight Howard’s arrival and the team having a fallout internally with LeBron James and Jeanie Buss, Iggy had his sights set on purple and gold.

Well, this weekend, we’re hearing that he’s had a change of heart and is planning to do a complete 180 in the city of Los Angeles. With Memphis not wanting to buy him out for the Lakers to get him for free, the Los Angeles Clippers have emerged as the front-runner to land the backcourt defender before the start of training camp.

It’s unclear if it’ll be a buyout, but likely a compensation trade will happen, with the Grizzlies getting something back in return. Considering the Lakers have turned into a complete circus, outside of Taco Tuesday; Iggy wants no distractions heading into one of his final years.

By going to the Clippers, the team now has a 2-4 that can swap on every opponent; with Iggy joining Klaw, Paul George and Montrezl Harrell.

Look for this story to start gaining steam in the next few days (see: Carmelo Anthony to Brooklyn Nets story we broke two weeks ago).
