During All-Star Weekend, Anthony Davis spoke to the media and was very open about the trade controversy surrounding him and the New Orleans Pelicans.
During media day, the press asked AD about everything going on and he came clean about everything. He confirmed that he made the trade demands were real and the list that first came out was real. But he even went on to speak about how he never said the Boston Celtics weren’t on his list of preferred destinations.
He also talked about his connection to the city of New Orleans, the organization firing Dell Demps this last week, his ultimate legacy with the Pelicans, and being named All-Star Game MVP in front of his home fans.
He didn’t hold back and it was interesting to hear.
