Taking a page from the Toronto Raptors and Drake for their beloved OVO Nights every year, now the Atlanta Hawks are hosting 2 Chainz on March 27 as a halftime performer and special guest. The Hawks will be playing the Miami Heat that night and give player introductions after a pre-game show, as well as a performance after the game to go along with his set at Halftime.
The first 5,000 fans will also get a copy of Tity Boi’s latest T.R.U. Jack City mixtape and the organization already has the t-shirt on deck for the occasion, with dos cadenas on it like the rapper.
This isn’t their first big event of the year either. Back in January, the team had a Tinder Night that got a good response from fans and singles in the Atlanta area.
With the run they’ve been having this year, we wouldn’t be surprised if they pull off another event by the time they get to the playoffs either. The Hawks currently sit at the top of the Eastern Conference and hold the second best record in the entire NBA at 53-14.
