Going into tonight’s Monday Night Football double-header, this seemed like the better lineup out of the two. Considering the second game was a snooze fest, this Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Washington Redskins turned out to be the best game out of the two. Plus, when you have a matchup like Antonio Brown vs. Josh Norman, that is sure to catch some headlines.
Ben Roethlisberger is going into the season without some big weapons too. No Le’Veon Bell. No Martavis Bryant. No Heath Miller. No Markus Wheaton. So who the hell would he throw to? Brown, of course. And he was catching damn near everything thrown his way.
Clutch 4th down for the TD? Check.
Single coverage down the sidelines for the score? Check again.
The boy showed out and caught eight receptions for 126 yards and hauled in the 500th reception of his Steelers career. The significant part about that statement besides the milestone is the fact that Big Ben became the first player in NFL history to do it with three different players. Ben also passed Joe Montana on the most touchdowns thrown list as well.
But Antonio wasn’t the only one balling. D’Angelo Williams also had a great game. He rushed for 143 yards on 26 carries on the way to the win.
Just look how disgusted Kevin Durant was after one of those Brown touchdowns.
