Bryce Harper Homers Twice As Nationals Win Season Opener

Bryce Harper belted 2 homers as the Nationals beat the Marlins on Opening Day

The MLB regular season is off to a banging start as young superstar Bryce Harper accomplished a very rare feat today by hitting two home runs in his first two at bats of the season. This made him the youngest to ever do that and it pretty amazing seeing how Harper is only 20 years old.

This is a young Nationals team that is expected to do great things this season behind Harper’s huge swing and the sensational pitching of Steven Strasburg, who picked up the win today and at one point retired 19 straight batters. It is still very early in the season but we have to think that Harper is a serious contender for NL MVP in just his second season in the league.
