Clippers captain, Chris Paul called into ESPN for an outlook on the season and how his team moving forward into taking the next steps to becoming a legitimate contender. Last night the Clippers opened the year against their 2012 playoffs first round opponent, the Memphis Grizzlies as they continued things this season after their game 7 series victory last year in a tough win. Tomorrow they will play their in-city rival, the Los Angeles Lakers in potential the biggest game of the week with the Lakers to avoid an 0-3 record while the Clippers are looking for a statement win.
Steve Nash who suffered a contusion of his lower left leg is still questionable for Friday’s game but all signs are indicating that he will indeed be playing Friday night’s big game.
