The Oklahoma City Thunder couldn’t contain Dallas Mavericks’ Dirk Nowitzki as he went on to have an epic night, with 48 points and a playoff record 24-24 from the free throw line. Kevin Durant’s 40 points were not enough for the Thunder, as they look to even up the series tonight for Game 2. OKC will need a big game from Russell Westbrook and good defense against the Maverick bench if they have any shot of winning.
Dirk Nowitzki continues to dominate from all aspects, so the Thunder will have to slow him down as much as they can, or else it’ll be another shoot out from the big man.
