We have never questioned Dennis Smith Jr.‘s hops and will never do it after looking at this highlight from last night’s Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trail Blazers game.
In the closing minutes of the Mavs win against the Blazers, Smith Jr. stole a pass from midcourt and before throwing down his dunk, he bounced passed it to himself. The actual slam could have been better but considering it was on the fly and unplanned, we’re not mad at it at all.
At the end of the day, it was disrespectful.
Dennis finished the game with a solid stat line of 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in the 115-109 win at home.
