Welker Leaves Foxborough To Go Mile High With Peyton In Denver For Imminent Super Bowl Run.
NFL Free Agency has been under way for just over 24 hours and the biggest surprise has just about everyone shocked. Today Wes Welker decided to join the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning. Welker had recently become upset with the New England Patriots, whom failed to offer Wes a longterm contract. This is quite shocking since Tom Brady recently restructured his contract to open up space to sign players such as Welker. Denver has reportedly given Welker a 2 year deal and a total of 12 million dollars.
The implications of this weigh heavy on the AFC, as now the Broncos catapult themselves into the top position in the division and the Patriots need to look to replace Welker with another valuable asset. To make things even better the Broncos will visit the Patriots this season. Wonder what kind of reception Wes will get in Foxboro?
