Devin Booker Makes History by Scoring 50 Points in Back-To-Back Games

We all know Devin Booker can ball, but he’s stuck in a losing situation in Phoenix with the Suns. Though they have a good young core building, it’s not enough to give the Western Conference a real run at the playoffs yet.

On Monday night against the Utah Jazz, Booker scored 59 points in a game he had no help in. He was actually slated to score 60, but the Jazz prevented it from happening by fouling someone else on his team towards the end to seal it. The Suns ended up losing, but Devin snapped.

Last night against the Washington Wizards, he continued the run, scoring exactly 50 points in another loss for the team. The mark made Booker the youngest player in NBA history to drop consecutive 50-point games.

With the Suns headed to the NBA Draft lottery, it doesn’t seem like they’re going to win many games, but if there’s anything to take away from this horrible season, it’s little things like this.

Booker is a star.
