Doc Rivers Shades Chris Paul’s Departure from LA

Lottery Bound City?

Tuesday afternoon, the Los Angeles Clippers held a press conference to introduce new acquisitions this summer. Following the departure of Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets, the Clippers did something they never did during the entire tenure of CP3 – add role players.

The team soon acquired Danilo Gallinari, Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams and former under-used Cleveland Cavalier, DeAndre Liggins. During the conference, Doc said the team would now have ball movement this season – citing Chris needed the ball to make plays for the team.

Well, after declining to trade his son for Carmelo Anthony last trade deadline, Paul continued to not have another player to pass the ball to on the court. Unfortunately, he lacked proper personnel and felt pairing up with James Harden (and Melo?) could inch him closer to being a contender. Take a look at the video below and let us know if you think the Clippers will make the playoffs.
