There is always snubs when it comes to the All-Star Game or any other event where the best of the best get picked. Usually Damian Lillard is at the other end of the spectrum, except it’s a new day. The Portland Trail Blazers guard is finally getting the respect he deserves in the Western Conference.
The NBA has announced the reserves for the games and there are some surprises. For one, it’s peculiar how Paul George didn’t make the cut, but Victor Oladipo of his old Indiana Pacers team is. Andre Drummond also didn’t make the cut for the East reserves. The New York Knicks now have an All-Star thanks to Kristaps Porzingis. Karl-Anthony Towns has made his first appearance of his career. But Chris Paul, Ben Simmons, Lou Williams and Devin Booker didn’t make the reserves.
The players were chosen by the NBA’s head coaches. Now all that’s left is for Steph Curry and Lebron James to pick their respective teams regardless of conference affiliation. Those rosters will be revealed next Thursday.
You can take a look at the full list below and let us know who you think should have made the cut.
