The NBA Reveals 2018 All-Star Game Starters

Leading in All-Star Game votes for their respective conferences in this year’s festivities were none other than LeBron James and Steph Curry. That’s no surprise. Fans, players and media chose the two as captains, and will kick off the new format of teams for the game. The two will be able to pick their players during the All-Star Draft regardless of conference affiliation. Unfortunately, the All-Star Draft will not be televised.

Below are the starters from each conference.

Eastern Conference

Backcourt: Kyrie Irving, G, Boston Celtics
Backcourt: DeMar DeRozan, G, Toronto Raptors
Frontcourt: LeBron James, F, Cleveland Cavaliers
Frontcourt: Giannis Antetokounmpo, F, Milwaukee Bucks
Frontcourt: Joel Embiid, C, Philadelphia 76ers

Western Conference

Backcourt: Stephen Curry, G, Golden State Warriors
Backcourt: James Harden, G, Houston Rockets
Frontcourt: Kevin Durant, F, Golden State Warriors
Frontcourt: Anthony Davis, F, New Orleans Pelicans
Frontcourt: DeMarcus Cousins, C, New Orleans Pelicans

The reserves, which will also make up the final teams, will be chosen by NBA coaches by January 25. This year’s NBA All-Star Game will be played on Sunday, February 18 at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
