Bledsoe is out again with a knee tear
The Phoenix Suns are in deep shit this year and are will be missing the best athlete on their team. From undercutting the assistant coaching staff of Jeff Hornacek this week, and his potential exit at the end the year, the team will now be without their star player, Eric Bledsoe.
Over the weekend, he went down with a knee injury against the Philadelphia 76ers and couldn’t move from the ground. If you remember two years ago, he had a right-knee meniscus tear and missed the entire 2014 season, which he’s unfortunately endured some Déjà vu. Bledsoe had surgery will now be out for the remainder of the year, following surgery earlier this morning.
The team initially expected him to be out just six weeks, but he won’t be able to do any physical activities on his legs for the next few months. Eric was averaging a team high 20 points-per-game and 6 assist, as the Phoenix was on the outside looking for the playoffs this season.
The 26-year-old point is expected to make his return for the start of training camp, which the team will now look to build around the player they signed for five-years and $70 million last year.
