ESPN Plus coming spring 2018!
Friday afternoon, Walt Disney held a company fourth quarter earnings call to discuss their current gains, losses and future within the billion-dollar brand. Disney CEO Bob Iger, gave the public a major update on the previously announced ESPN streaming service. Mr. Iger went to reveal that the long-awaited app will be called ESPN Plus and will arrive during Spring 2018.
The stand-alone app will be the latest attempt of a major network to branch themselves away from cable companies; giving users the ability to stream new additional channels to their lineup.
Along with thousands of more live events (assuming college), ESPN Plus will also have monthly-fee, which will be revealed early next year. Stay tuned for details likely at CES 2018 in January, regarding the service and why fans should consider adding it to their budget. Peep more below.
