ESPN Conversation: Derrick Rose

In the latest of the ESPN “conversation” series, Rachel Nichols sits down for an exclusive interview with Chicago Bulls captain, Derrick Rose. Rose, the former 2011 Most Valuable Player was victim to a sad injury-plagued season last year in which he only played 39 of the teams 66 games last season before ultimately tearing his ACL in game 1 of the first-round playoffs against the Indiana Pacers.

In the discussion with Rachel, D-Rose talks about the rehabilitation process he’s been going through thus far having patience during his training regimens moving forward to getting back to action. He also touches on comments made by Tim Hardaway (in which I agree with) that he should take the season off to fully rehabilitate his knee and prepare for the 2013-2014 season.

Rose still has expectations to return this year but with a revamped eastern conference as the balance of power moves away from the Western Conference, the Bulls are going to have a difficult time this year finishing regular season record with home-court advantage again as there’s doubts their star could even return next season at all. We’ll all just have to wait and see for #thereturn.
