The Emmy-nominated ESPN 30 for 30 film series has been renewed for a second season with episodes scheduled to air this October through 2014. Bernie Kosar, Andrew Rison, Cliff Floyd, Ben Johnson, James Naismith, Ben Wilson, Wright Thompson and Bo Jackson have been confirmed so far to be featured in the first six episodes of the season.
In addition to the new season of 30 feature-length documentaries, ESPN Films will expand the series with 30 for 30 Shorts exclusively on Grantland.com beginning in September. Similar to the 30 for 30 film series, 30 for 30 shorts will represent a specific point of view from the filmmaker and will reflect how they blend the narrative with their own visual style.
