Gore really wants that ring before Canton!
Last week, Frank Gore made the initial tough decision of leaving the San Francisco 49ers, after spending his entire 10-year career there. He initially planned to join the Philadelphia Eagles and unite with long-time friend Chip Kelly – who’s been one of the more active coaches this off-season in reshaping his roster.
Before heading to the city of brotherly love to ink the contract, Gore had second thoughts on not pursuing his first destination, which was the Indianapolis Colts. Being a fan of Andrew Luck, Gore felt he can bring the missing component to the Colts they were missing last year, being a consistent run game.
With uncertainty on how many years he has left contributing at high level, Frank feels he and newly acquired wide-out Andre Johnson can help Indianapolis get to the Super Bowl next year.
