no. . .
For whatever reason, the Los Angeles Lakers have received the most coverage, for not even being the best team. A little team in Wisconsin, known as the Milwaukee Bucks, had the best overall record in the entire NBA; as well as looking like a look to go to the NBA Finals and possibly win the championship.
However, major media and fans are pushing for Giannis Antetokounmpo to leave the small town and go to a larger market. The trend of super-teams is still going on until the next CBA, where we expect the entire league to change.
With that being said, it’s been brought to our attention, that Giannis has no desire to play with a super-team or leave Milwaukee. It’s been confirmed to us, to re-sign with the Bucks in the summer of 2021, and earn a super-max extension. The 25-year-old will probably be the most sought-after free agent next summer, and we’re not even sure he’ll listen to offers.
The New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat are some of the teams that the general public has wanted the Greek Freak to pair up with. But. it’s unrealistic in our opinion, with cap structure and how he wants to remain lowkey with no egos in a locker-room.
While Giannis still needs to develop a jumper, the team is in win-now-mode, with an array of veterans still in their prime. We expect the team to compete for a championship in September against the Lakers, which will be Giannis’ first taste of the bright lights.
Let us know in the comments if you’re in favor of Giannis staying.
