Miami 104, New York 94
Heat lead 2-0
LeBron James and Co. continued their play from Saturdays 33 point blowout as they defeated the Knicks Monday night taking a 2-0 series lead. Chris Bosh scored 21 points, while Wade had 25 and James scored 19 points almost grabbing another triple double. New York has lost 12 playoff games in a row dating back to April 29, 2001.
To add to the bad news for Knicks fans; Amare Stoudemire venting out his frustrations from last night’s loss, punched a glass casing surrounding a fire extinguisher. Amare was immediately treated for lacerations on his left hand by paramedics on scene. The extent of the injury is unknown at this time but sources close to ESPNNewYork were informed Stoudemire will miss game 3 and possibly the rest of the series. Knicks who are already without Iman Shumpert who tore his ACL in Saturday’s loss in Miami and now presumably without Amare, will have to play game 3 with little to no margin of error to stay alive in this series
Game 3 is scheduled this Thursday on TNT with a tip-off set for 7:00 pm (ET).
Win or Go Home!
The Knicks are 14-5 without Stoudemire this season.
