Ja Morant has looked like one of the best rookies of this year’s class and aside from putting up numbers, he’s also coming through in the clutch for the Memphis Grizzlies.
Against the Charlotte Hornets, Morant had a show.
With less than 10 seconds left in the game, Ja took the ball from the top of the key straight into the heart of the defense and somehow pulled off a left-handed layup that took a few bounces and went in. He literally went through three Hornets defenders and got the shot off in time, with only .7 seconds remaining.
The Grizzlies ended up winning 119-117 against the Hornets on the road, with the help of Morant’s 23 points and 11 assists on the game.
