Jalen Rose Says the Fab Five Beef Is Over After Juwan Howard Coaching Hire

For decades, one of the best recruiting classes in the history of the NCAA, The Fab Five (Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson), didn’t always see eye-to-eye. While things were personal and the friction carried over for years, Michigan University hiring Juwan Howard as their new head coach has erased any bad blood.

Jalen Rose appeared on this morning’s Get Up! to explain how much this hiring means to Howard, the program and the Fab Five.

As he puts it, there was a group text that started getting responses from all five players the last few months and this news has only brought the boys together. At this point, they don’t want to bring any negativity, beef or tension to the university because all they want to do is support their brother Juwan.

We’ll see how translates to the future, but this is amazing news for the university, for all the players involved and for the future of Michigan.
