No Jimmy Butler? No problem. Joel Embiid took control of the game against the Phoenix Suns on the Philadelphia 76ers west coast trip.
Even while playing with a left sore knee, Embiid had extra motivation against DeAndre Ayton (after comments he made during the offseason about feeling disrespected) as he went off on the night for 42 points and 18 rebounds.
Granted, it’s the Suns, but that’s still a monster game for the big fella.
It was also a great game for Ben Simmons and JJ Redick, who scored 29 points and 27 points respectively. Simmons also dished out 6 assists.
