JR Smith Talks Cleveland Trade, Playing with LeBron James & Carmelo Anthony

The Cleveland Cavaliers just wrapped up another sweep in the playoffs, eliminating the the Atlanta Hawks after four games. The team now gets to rest and await the winner of the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat, both of which lost two crucial big men the last game.

In another episode of Ride Along, streak shooter JR Smith hops in the whip and goes for a cruise around Beverly Hills, CA to talk about his career and how it’s evolved with time.

In the episode, JR speaks on playing in China during the lockout, how it feels to play at Madison Square Garden every night, playing alongside Carmelo Anthony and how he felt when he heard the news that he was traded to Cleveland. Aside from being pissed at the time, he now feels blessed to be able to play with LeBron James and compared his game to ‘Melo, in terms of what they both do on the court.

As the Cavs attempt to win a championship, Smith finishes by saying that he doesn’t care how he contributes to the team. He just wants to win.
