Kawhi Leonard Hits Clutch Shot to Beat Trail Blazers

We’ve caught a few Toronto Raptors games this season and when the game is on the line, they give the ball to Kawhi Leonard. Though the man is a beast throughout the game, in the clutch, he doesn’t come up triumphant all of the time.

Tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers, he did.

With both teams trading baskets in the stretch, things were getting tense. Danny Green and Kyle Lowry had a few huge buckets with time winding down. Damian Lillard carried the Blazers when it counted most after C.J. McCollum put the team on his back for most of the start of the game.

But it was Leonard who hit the game-winning dagger with one second left to win.

He finished with 38 points and 5 assists on the night, while Marc Gasol and Lowry both ended the game with 19 points each. Kyle also had 10 assists.

On the other side, McCollum dropped 35 points for Portland, and his backcourt brother Lillard had 24 points and 8 rebounds on the game.
