Kevin Durant Speaks Out on Flagrant-2 Ejection, Facing One-Game Suspension

Durant & Westbrook addressing media

The Dallas Mavericks are down a starter in Chandler Parsons and have taken an alternative physical route to get into the heads of their first round opponent Oklahoma City Thunder. For the most part, OKC didn’t budge until the second of last night’s game 4 meeting in Dallas. It resulted in Kevin Durant losing his cool and visibly slapping rookie Justin Anderson – that led to an ejection.

Some around the league are even calling for a game-5 suspension, which could mean the Mavericks have a slight chance to extend this series longer than the Thunder would like. After the game, Kevin simply said the flagrant-2 foul was just bad timing, following previous events throughout the night. Since Durant apologized to the rook and even shook his hand after the game, we’re curious if Adam Silver and the league will still hand down a one-game suspension.

Take a look at the series of events from game 4 below.
