Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard Confrontation in Brooklyn

NBA scuffles

Kevin Garnett is the type of player that wears his emotions on his sleeve but they got the best of him Monday night against the Houston Rockets. In the 1st quarter, there was a physical battle down low between him and Dwight Howard, that quickly elevated when pushing and shoving turned into ball throwing and headbutts. The teams quickly moved to break up the “fight” even after Garnett looked for D12.

Security broke them apart and the result was ejection for KG.

The Brooklyn Nets didn’t stand a chance after that, ultimately losing the game 113-99. Howard didn’t even beast either. He was held to only 8 points for the game.

UPDATE: The NBA has suspended Garnett for one game without pay for initiating the incident and headbutting, while Howard will be fined $15,000 for pushing KG in the neck.
