After Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the whole country of Canada were behind the Toronto Raptors. Their confidence that they could beat the Golden State Warriors in a seven game series was high. Drake was on a high, talking shit to Draymond Green after the game and calling the team “trash,” but he was only adding fuel to the fire.
There were reports that Drizzy and Draymond talked after Game 1 to hash things out, with Dub Nation coming out in Game 2 and really smacking the Raptors. Especially in the third quarter. There was no stopping the onslaught of scoring from the Warriors.
After the game, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant made sure to throw their shots at the 6 God, saying they can’t wait to see his “bumass” in the Bay Area (for Game 3).

We’re sure this won’t really ignite the Raptors to play better since the beef is towards Drake, but his antics finally came back to bite the team.

In actuality, the Raptors still have luck on their side, considering that Thompson went down with a hamstring injury, Kevon Looney hurt his collarbone, Andre Iguodala is still hobbled (but hit that clutch dagger), KD is still out and the jury is out on DeMarcus Cousins. The Warriors still found a way to win, though.
Game 3 is Wednesday at 9pm EST on ABC.
