Kobe Bryant Gives Assessment on Lonzo Ball’s Game

With the 2018 NBA season only two months, sports writers and fans are already believing Lonzo Ball will be an average player in the league. However, people with opinions that actually matter and have played the game, are waiting to give final judgement. This weekend, Kobe Bryant briefly gave his assessment of Zo2’s play thus far. In a conversation with ESPN, Kobe said, “He needs to get better now, Kyle Kuzma, better now. Julius Randle, better now. Players, you want that now.

We never thought, ‘OK, we’re going to win four years from now. We really thought this is our year. We’re going to get this done. We’re going to push, push, push, push, push to get better now.’ And in the process of having that impatience, you develop. If you’re just patiently going about it, you’ll never get there. For players, it’s kind of patient impatience.” So essentially, Mr. Bryant wants Lonzo to have that Mamba Mentality – which we believe less than 1% of players ever truly tap into.
