It’s safe to say that Kanye West‘s recent slavery comments weren’t welcomed with open ears at all. The backlash as a result of those comments was massive, which prompted Yeezy to apologize and clear his statements up online.
During a visit to We Rise LA this past weekend, Kobe Bryant was asked about his thoughts on the controversy by one of the kids in attendance. Besides the comical “What the hell are you talking about?” response, the Black Mamba mentioned he was just as shocked as the rest of us and he completely disagrees with what ‘Ye said.
He also defended the first amendment and said that the beauty of living in this democracy is that we can technically say whatever we want.
