With the Lakers looking towards free agency, the upcoming draft and most of all a new head coach, Kobe Bryant was guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. In the sit-down, Kimmel joked he started a rumor of the Mamba being in talks to purchase the Los Angeles Clippers and asked was it true. He shied away from the rumor, which Kimmel brought up Kobe almost signing with the Clippers a few years ago and talked meeting Donald Sterling. Bryant talked the team’s unwillingness to initially sign him and go on a spending spree at the time; but credit’s them for helping to put Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan all in a good position for a chance at winning.
