Kobe Bryant Reveals A Few Plans After Retirement

NBA: Los Angeles Lakers at Detroit Pistons

Kobe Bryant is hitting stride on his last season in the NBA playing for the Los Angeles Lakers and as much as that thought scares him, he’s also relieved he can now do things he otherwise couldn’t.

In talking with Rick Fox and Jared Greenberg on SiriusXM NBA Radio, the Black Mamba revealed a few plans of what he’s going to do when he finally hangs up the jersey in the rafters and says goodbye to the game he’s worked so hard in for his entire life.

“I’m looking forward to skiing a little bit. I’ve never been skiing before. Maybe do a little surfing, maybe. Maybe a little skydiving.”

Rick points out that these are things that an NBA player can’t do under contract, so it sounds like Kobe is going to live life and enjoy in activities he’s never attempted.

The farewell tour continues tomorrow as the Lakers host the San Antonio Spurs at home.
