Coach Carter Kobe?
Bryant, who is leading the league in scoring at 28 ppg, will miss his fifth straight game as the Lakers host the Mavericks later today. The Lakers are 3-1 without Kobe in the lineup but have six games remaining; one including the top seeded Thunder and two more against the Spurs. The level of concern in Lakerland should be very high as Kobe has been playing through injuries the entire season but never missed games until this injury. With the playoffs approaching in under two weeks, it’s going to be difficult for the Lakers to keep their home-court positioning without the Mamba. They’re currently a game ahead of the Clippers in standings and 1½ game on Memphis. Win or Go Home!
