In this interview with The Player’s Tribune, Lamar talks about his mother’s passing, how he felt when he was addicted to drugs and what got him on the right path.
He got choked up when he spoke on his mother’s passing and you can still hear the pain of him talking about waking up from the coma without being able to walk or talk. His daughter gave him an ultimatum: you either get clean or I won’t talk to you anymore. Luckily he chose the latter and has been on the right path ever since.
