LeBron James Becomes Youngest Player In NBA History To Reach 20,000 Points

Last night during the fifth of a six game road trip, NBA Finals 2012 MVP LeBron James added another career milestone to his nearly 10-year career becoming the youngest player ever to reach 20,000 points. Nearly 5 years ago, he reached a similar achievement becoming the youngest player to reach 10,000 points but now at the age of 28 he’s no. 38 on the all-time list passing up John Stockton.

Above you can watch his journey to 20,000 which gives us a look at his career timeline as we expect a 30,000 film package five years from now as he nears joining the elite club of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain and Kobe Bryant.

Whether or not he passes Wilt as the all-time leading scorer remains to be seen but we’re sure if Bron wasn’t a pass-first player that accomplishment wouldn’t seem as far fetched.
