LeBron James Blocked at the Buzzer as Lakers Lose to Knicks

As if the Los Angeles Lakers season couldn’t get any worse than it has been, the team lost to the bottom of the barrel New York Knicks team last night at Madison Square Garden.

KNICKSTAPE fans know their team is tanking for the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.

The game came down to the wire and with seven seconds left, LeBron James wanted to be the hero. With the MSG crowd rooting against him and Mario Hezonja guarding him, he went straight to the hoop for the game-winner. Unfortunately he was blocked by Hezonja, stared down and the Lakers lost in disappointing fashion.

It was the worst 4th quarter ever, as LBJ went 4-15 from the field. His 11 missed shots was the most he’s ever had in his 16-year career.

After the game, he talked about his troubles.

James still finished with 33 points and 8 assists, but the Lake Show fall to 31-39 and 9.5 games out of the 8th playoff spot in the Western Conference.

FINAL: NYK 124 | LAL 123
