LeBron James is 33 years old. He’s played 15 seasons in the NBA. And he’s now showing any signs of slowing down in the foreseeable future.
Case in point: Tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
With seven minutes in the first quarter and the Cleveland Cavaliers down 1, King James seized the opportunity off a double screen and went straight to the rack. Jusuf Nurkic was waiting for him, but there was no stopping this train. LBJ turned the corner at full throttle and posterized Nurk something nasty, making the Cavs bench completely lose their minds.
Social media is already saying this might possibly be dunk of the year. We won’t crown it yet, but it’s definitely in the running. LeBron destroyed him.
James had another outstanding effort, finishing the game with 35 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 assists. Unfortunately, Cleveland lost the game 113-105.
As it stands now, the Cavaliers are the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference, right behind the Indiana Pacers. Out in the Western Conference, the Blazers are holding down the third seed.
