The Los Angeles Lakers have been working out plenty of rookie prospects the past few weeks, as the organization looks to continue building through the NBA Draft and look to contend for the future. This year, they have the second overall pick and the 28th pick to work with, where they can get some serious value. Who will they draft? That is yet to be determined, but the Lake Show wants to get back into their winning ways after years of being at the bottom of the league.
During a shoot around, new President of Basketball Operations Magic Johnson was showing off his skills on the court and the 58-year still has it. In the short clip, he can be seen taking a few shots, draining everything he threw up. The mid-range shot has not missed a step, although his explosion may be by the wayside. Of course, he was solo dropping the buckets.
We’re sure the rookies were sort of impressed.
