Miami Heat Address Chris Bosh’s Situation, Look to Part Ways

RELATED: Chris Bosh “Rebuild” [Documentary]

The Miami Heat may or may not have done everything that they possibly can to get Chris Bosh on the court in a uniform, but their hands are tied. With a medical condition such as his, there’s not much you can do — especially if doctors are not clearing him to play and he’s not even passing the physical to start training camp.

Now, Pat Riley has put almost a definitive stamp on the situation, telling the media his “Heat career is probably over.” If that’s not a nail in the coffin, we don’t know what is.

Erik Spoelstra also addressed the media concerning Riley’s statement and said his heart goes out for him and his family. As of now, there’s nothing much he can do and can only prepare for the season without him being on the roster. He admits his relationship with Chris is different and he will always love him outside of basketball, but with such a touchy situation, they have to move on.

Bosh has worked hard this offseason to try to get back on the court, but unfortunately, the blood clots have still been appearing. For another team doctor to clear him will be difficult. According to current treatments, he cannot participate in any contact sports. The Heat still owe him $75 milion dollars, so nobody would blame him if he took the money and started the next chapter in his career.

Looks like the “Big 3” era in Miami is officially over and the rebuild plan starts now.
