The bad news keep getting worse for the Miami Heat and even more, for Chris Bosh. As training camp is around the corner, the NBA All-Star has failed the physical and looks to be in doubt to play for the upcoming season. As of now it isn’t clear why he failed the physical, and the team will not release that medical information because of the collective bargaining agreement.

The team did release this statement about the news, though:

“The Miami Heat and Chris Bosh, in consultation with team doctors and other physicians, have been working together for many months with the mutual goal of having Chris return to the court as soon as possible. Chris has now taken his pre-season physical. The Miami Heat regret that it remains unable to clear Chris to return to basketball activities.”

Reports have come out and said that Bosh hasn’t talked to Pat Riley in months and his future in Miami looks very murky. On one hand, as we saw in the documentary that was released this week, Bosh is ready to play and is determined to make it back on the court. On the other, his health is in question and it would take a lot for any other NBA team to take the risk and clear him to play.

For now, the Heat have the rights to Bosh, so they would have to release them before he could take another physical with another team, let alone pass the physical.

Get well soon, Chris.
