Michael Jordan Says Six Championships Are More Impressive Than Player Streaks

In today’s NBA, it’s tough to set historic records. Both James Harden and Russell Westbrook have done it, with The Beard doing it with 30 straight 30-point games and Russ break Wilt Chamberlain’s 10-straight triple doubles.

In talking to the media about hosting the 2019 NBA All-Star game, Michael Jordan was asked about this and he had an interesting opinion.

“Which is harder from the player’s standpoint? Six championships, by all means.”

Of course, he was joking, but still being serious. He actually clarified later and stated how he’s proud of both Harden and Westbrook and how their marks really helps grow the league and the talent the NBA has right now.

MJ is really the GOAT for that 6 rings comment, though.
