Atlanta at Tampa Bay

Remember two weeks ago when I went on a limb and picked the Saints for the upset to dethrone the undefeated 8-0 Atlanta Falcons? Well, today we’re going to have a repeat of that with some Déjà vu as I’m picking an upset again with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pulling through with a close win. Like I said in the 2012 NFL season preview, the Buccs will go as far as Josh Freeman takes and with his recent lights out play, sky’s the limit for this team as I expect them to win today’s game (at home) to make a statement to the rest of the NFL and the world.
Both Julio Jones and Asante Samuel are dealing but this will not be stopping the Falcons from throwing the ball against the Tampa. The Buccs currently have the worst pass defense with the highest rated run defense in the NFL as if the Falcons want to win today’s game; it’s going strictly be on the shoulders of Matt Ryan. This could possibly be the sleeper game of the day.
