Baltimore at San Diego

Baltimore’s managed to still keep the 2nd best record in the AFC even with stars Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb both out for the season. Dennis Pitta has been cleared to return to action after suffering a concussion last week. Speaking of which, Ed Reed was initially suspended for today’s game for repeated helmet-to-helmet hits; but after an appeal, his punished was reduced to a $50,000 fine.
The Chargers have been struggling in recent weeks dropping below .500 at 4-6 as the Denver Broncos lead by the NFL MVP (in my opinion) Peyton Manning have been surging in the AFC West to go 7-3. To say today’s game for the Chargers is a must win would be an understatement but it definitely is. They have a pretty favorable schedule against the Bengals, Panthers, Jets and Raiders but a win today would build momentum for that team that’s been suffering the season with the passing of Junior Seau. For this game I’m picking the Ravens in a close one.
