GINOBLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.
Those of you who interact with me via twitter know Manu Ginobli’s one of my guys; but when it comes to keeping the integrity of the NBA at its highest level, there’s a zero tolerance policy around these parts. Earlier today in “lovely” Elizabeth, New Joisey, NBA spokesman Tim Frank announced the leagues plans to implement a new penalty system for floppers in the NBA starting this upcoming season.
League commissioner David Stern had wanted a system placed in for years and it looks like after last year’s historical galore of flops around the league we’ll finally see them diminishing. Frank also said today, the NBA referees (non-replacement) have been training this off-season to be cautious of flopping this season in which all fouls with flop like evidence will be reviewing after games with fines in place for conclusive evidence from videos. Players beware.
