New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets Opener Rescheduled For Monday November 26th

Just 24 hours after Mayor Bloomberg announced tonight’s Brooklyn Nets home opener against the New York Knicks was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy, today we get the good news that game will indeed still take place this month in four weeks on November 26th. We can still expect to see a nationally televised game on TNT at 7pm ET on TNT as both teams will be playing their fifth game in seven days.

Ironically, tomorrow the Knicks will host the NBA champion Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden, which will definitely not be cancelled as the team is not expecting a full crowd to be on hand at the game. Hopefully four weeks from now, the city will be somewhat cleaner with the subway lines back running take focus off the devastation for the time being.
