He was exposed. He lost his fiancee Iggy Azalea. Trade rumors and news of his exit from the Los Angeles Lakers circled him this offseason. Nick Young has officially hit rock bottom. Or somewhere close to it.
But it seems like he isn’t one to hold a grudge for too long.
Less than six months after the controversy first hit headlines and only two months fresh after his breakup with his girlfriend, Swaggy P told the Los Angeles Daily News that things can be worked out between him and D’Angelo Russell.
“We’re teammates. It’s been so long, so it’s kind of old. We’ve already been working it out. It is what it is. I can’t be mad forever.”
And remember that commercial where Russell made fun of himself, throwing his cell phone out the window when giving Ben Simmons advice? He thought it was funny. He told the newspaper he needs his own commercial where tell his side of the story. Which should be rather interesting.
Now he just needs to figure out how he fits into the current roster, basketball wise.
