D’Angelo Russell Apologizes for Nick Young Leaked Video

Yesterday’s Los Angeles Lakers press conference had less to do with their win over the Miami Heat and more about D’Angelo Russell‘s debacle with Nick Young this week.

Like we suggested yesterday, D’Angelo has manned up and apologized for the incident to Swaggy P behind closed doors and now in front of the media. During his post-game press conference last night, he said he has no idea how the video got out, but he’s owning up to his mistake and hopes that one day Nick will forgive him. He even admitted that he may have put Young’s relationship with Iggy Azalea in jeopardy.

On the contrary, Nick didn’t have much to say about what happened.

Even Kobe Bryant had his two cents about the situation, saying he has to learn from his mistakes and continue to perform on the court. In his best “YODA” impression, he only advises that people show compassion and empathy for what’s happened because we’ve all made mistakes and the only thing he can do now is apologize and move on from it.

Young Russell didn’t drop 50 points on the haters like we wanted him to, but he did manage to play 35 minutes and score 16 on his time on the floor.
