OS Top 5: The Best Of ‘Miller Time!’

Pacers 96, Bulls 94 | May 25, 1998
Miller-Line: 15 points, 2 Rebounds, 3 Assist

In our opinion and by far the biggest shot of Reggie Miller’s career was in game 4 of the 1998 Eastern Conference finals. The Pacers were on the verge of going back to Chicago down 3 games to 1 for a must-win game 5, but Reggie Miller wasn’t having it. On an inbound play with 2.9 seconds left, Reggie came off a screen and pushed Michael Jordan away to catch the ball and score a 3 with 4 tenths of a second remaining.

This game-winner was only overshadowed by The Final Shot as the Pacers would loose the series with Michael Jordan capturing his 6th and final ring. The Bulls series against the Pacers was definitely the most memorable of the 1998 playoffs.
