Paul George Gets Booed by Lakers Fans All Game in OKC Win

A few seasons ago, Paul George talked about how he always dreamed of playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. It was imminent that he would sign for the team during his free agency, but then he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Lakers were a little too confident and didn’t make a move for him and he ended up staying with the team that wanted him alongside Russell Westbrook.

For whatever reason, L.A. fans still feel salty for him snubbing the Lake Show when he had the chance because he got booed during last night’s game at STAPLES Center.

From the opening introductions to every time he touched the ball, he was hearing the boos from the fans. He got into early foul trouble in the first quarter so he wasn’t playing much after that in the first half, but used that negative motivation to propel the Thunder to a win on the road.

PG13 went off for a game-high 37 points, including some big plays in the fourth quarter to seal the game for Oklahoma City. Russ notched another triple double.

The funniest part of the game was when he scored over Lance Stephenson and drew a foul and Westbrook trolled Born Ready with his own guitar celebration. He even winked and blew a kiss to him while he was at it.

It was hilarious.

The Lakers are now 1-3 without LeBron James, who is recovering from a groin injury.

FINAL: LAL 100 | OKC 107
